    5 SideCar Golden Rules
  1. Treat your fellow SideCar community members kindly and courteously.
  2. If it's against the law, don’t do it.
  3. Give ratings and donations in a truthful and accurate manner.
  4. Be safe, have fun, and ride/drive often.
  5. Share the news! The bigger the community gets, the better it gets for everyone.
    Driver Code of Conduct
  1. Keep car well maintained and in safe working order.
  2. Be a safe and considerate driver; follow the rules of the road.
  3. Be on time.
  4. Be considerate of others’ preferences for things like music, air conditioning and social interactions (sometimes we’re in the mood to talk; sometimes we’re not).
  5. Maintain valid driving documentation, including driver’s license, car registration, and car insurance.
  6. Maintain a good clean driving record.
    Passenger Code of Conduct
  1. Provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations when requesting a ride.
  2. Be courteous and cooperative with the community driver.
  3. Wear a seatbelt at all times.
  4. Rate and donate promptly after your ride.
  5. Take any issues or complaints about the ride to the driver first, and if the problem is not resolved, to the SideCar support team.
  6. Take any issues or complaints about the app to the SideCar support team.
    The following can result in quick removal from the SideCar community:
  1. Disruptive behavior
  2. Smoking
  3. Inappropriate language or cursing
  4. Violence or threats
  5. Weapons of any type
  6. Use of illegal substances, including controlled substances, and abuse of prescription medicines and over-the-counter medicines
  7. Alcoholic beverages
  8. Radios, hand-held TVs or other electronic devices without earphones
