2023 Fisker Ocean, 2022 Porsche Taycan GTS, Vinfast in US: Today’s Car News

Fisker Ocean’s electric crossover will be in production by the end of 2022. We were able to see a prototype during the Los Angeles Auto Show 2021. Magna Steyr provided the platform for Tesla’s Model Y competitor. It will be manufactured at an Austrian plant.

A new Porsche Taycan Grade, the GTS was also on display in L.A. While the GTS receives the Taycan Turbo’s electric motors, inverters, and 626 lbft of torque, the GTS has a horsepower drop from 670 to 590.

Vinfast’s U.S. debut was made at the L.A. Auto Show. Vinfast, a Vietnamese automaker, brought with it a pair electric crossovers. The first is expected to be available in 2022. Vinfast plans to be different by selling a premium product for a fair price. However, the company did not say what its crossovers would cost.
