Poke Your Eyes Out At This Mercedes SLK That Costs 55 Million Vietnamese Dong

After hitting the Vietnamese used car market, a bizarre Mercedes-Benz SLK has gained traction online. It is modified somewhat to resemble a Lamborghini.

While the Mercedes-Benz SLK230 badge is visible on the back of the car, the owner may have made it look almost like an Italian supercar. The sports car is equipped with two scissor doors, which instantly give it a striking appearance.

A distinctive bodykit has been added to the exterior, including a new front and rear bumper. A new grille in black has been added to the Mercedes’ front. Also, bizarre covers were placed on the headlights. The front quarter panels feature large black fins that are reminiscent of those found in the Mercedes SLR McLaren.

The exterior mods include aftermarket wheels featuring red spokes and flared wheel arches. Fixed rear wings are also available. The cabin has been updated with black and red leather adorning both the steering wheel and the seats. On the dashboard is also a rug from animal fur.

We doubt any performance modifications have been made to the car but that’s no bad thing as the SLK 230 left the factory fitted with a 2.3-liter supercharged four-cylinder producing 190 hp and 207 lb-ft (280 Nm) of torque. It is also very affordable at 55 million Vietnamese Dong (roughly the equivalent of $2,000.
